More than 25 years of experience in media and media relations.

David Rosenberg began his career in the media, gaining over 13 years of experience as a writer and producer at news organizations including CNN Headline News, WGN TV, CLTV and Fox News Chicago.

In 2002, he joined the distinguished Chicago public relations agency Margie Korshak Inc., where he handled performing arts clients including Broadway In Chicago, the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University and the Harris Theater. Notable productions included the Chicago premieres of Disney’s The Lion King, WickedThe Color Purple and Jersey Boys, as well as the pre-Broadway world premieres of Monty Python’s Spamalot and Movin’ Out.  Other campaigns included the launch of The Harris Theater (from the groundbreaking to the Opening Night Gala), as well as major renovations of the The Shubert Theater and the Auditorium Theatre. He also worked with non-profit and retail clients including Marshall Fields (Glamorama), Starlight Children’s Foundation and Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation.

In 2007, David was named Communications Director of Chicago’s prestigious Steppenwolf Theatre Company, where he developed and executed publicity campaigns for all of the company’s productions and fundraisers. Highlights included the transfer of the Steppenwolf’s hit production August: Osage County to Broadway, London and Sydney, as well as the Broadway transfer of Superior Donuts.

Since forming DRPR in 2012, David has worked with over 30 Equity and non-Equity theatre companies in Chicago and consulted with Margie Korshak Inc. on the 2012-13 Chicago premiere of The Book of Mormon.

David holds a B.A. in Telecommunications from Indiana University, Bloomington.
